About the Therapist

I am from a small town in Maine and chose to come to New Hampshire 13 years ago. I have a Bachelor’s Degree from Hartwick College in NY and completed 2 Master’s Degree Programs at Arcadia University in PA. My Master’s Degrees are in Community Counseling and Elementary School Counseling. I hold a current state credential as a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor, which allows me to diagnose and treat clients in a private practice setting. Additionally, I am a National Certified Counselor and a Certified Clinical Mental Health Counselor with the National Board of Certified Counselors.

I see myself as a lifelong learner and have spent my professional career exploring and educating myself in the field. I have worked in a variety of settings from Public Schools in Urban and Rural settings to Locked Secure Residential Settings for Latency Age Children, from Counseling Adults in a Community Mental Health Center to Private Practice counseling with children and families, and from Inpatient Social Work on the Psychiatric Unit, to teaching Undergraduate and Graduate level courses at colleges in Maine and in New Hampshire. All of these experiences have only fueled my desire to help people reach their highest potential while advocating for their well-being. If you select me as your therapist, we will engage in a professional relationship focused on you, your development and achieving your goals. I look forward to meeting you.
